ASCO INDUSTRIES
The Belgian family company ASCO Industries, owned by the family Boas, is located in Zaventem and specializes in the development, manufacture and integration of “high lift devices” for the aircraft industry.
The company has three manufacturing subsidiaries: Asco Deutschland in Gedern Frankfurt, Asco Aerospace Canada in Delta Vancouver and Asco Aerospace USA in Stillwater Oklahoma.
The ASCO Group has more than 1350 staff employed and managed by working on its state-of-the-art equipment and specialization as a leader in its specific activity. The company is 100% export oriented, participates in most civilian aircraft programs and works for almost all aircraft.
At ASCO the employees are the key, invests heavily in the training and development of all employees. Asco pays special attention to work closely with the technical schools, colleges and universities in the area. Asco has since 1985 its own training center entirely at the service states of the teachers and their students. Asco annually offers several internships, assists students with their thesis and offer workplace learning programs. In this way, students and teachers have the opportunity to use a state-of-the-art machinery and can acquire specific technical skills in the workplace.
